Who we are

Virtual Infrastructure Services LLC ("VIS LLC", "we", "us") is a WMBE-certified consultancy based in South Brunswick, New Jersey, United States. We are the controller of the personal information described here.

What we collect, and when

When you fill in a form on this site. Your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything you type into a message field. Forms on this site are processed by Web3Forms, which passes the submission to our inbox.

When you book a consultation. Bookings run through Calendly. Calendly collects your name, email address, the time you selected, and any answers you give to its questions, and shares them with us.

When you pay us online. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address and card details. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a record of the payment and the contact details you supplied.

When you respond to one of our LinkedIn ads. If you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, LinkedIn passes us the name, work email, company and job title held on your LinkedIn profile, plus your answers to any questions on the form.

When you simply browse. Analytics and advertising tools place cookies and record pages viewed, approximate location, referring site, device and browser. See the next section.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This site uses:

  • Google Analytics 4 — measures how the site is used, in aggregate.
  • Google Tag Manager — loads the tags listed here. It does not collect anything on its own.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — lets us measure which ads led to enquiries, and lets us show ads to people who have visited this site. LinkedIn may recognise you as a member.
  • Calendly and Stripe — set cookies needed for booking and payment to work.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, and you can control LinkedIn advertising from your LinkedIn account settings.

Why we are allowed to use it

We rely on your consent when you submit a form, book a call or accept advertising cookies; on performance of a contract when you engage us for work; and on our legitimate interest in understanding how our site and advertising perform. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time.

Who else sees it

The processors named above — Web3Forms, Calendly, Stripe, Google and LinkedIn — each handle data under their own terms. We also use ordinary business tools such as email and accounting software. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Some of these providers are based in the United States, and data may be processed there.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and consultation records are kept for up to three years from our last contact with you, so we can pick up the conversation where it left off. Records relating to paid engagements are kept for seven years to meet tax and professional obligations. Analytics data follows the retention period set in Google Analytics.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable form. Residents of India have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023; residents of the EU and UK under the GDPR; residents of California under the CCPA/CPRA.

To exercise any of these, email info@virtual-infra.com. We will respond within 30 days. You will never be treated differently for asking.

Security

We apply the same access control, encryption in transit and least-privilege practices we implement for clients. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

Children

This site is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
